How long have you been doing what you do, and how did you become The Body/Mind Transformation Coach?

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story” that brought me to where I am today – coaching and guiding people like you on exactly what to do to move through their lives with newfound confidence in their bodies, and ultimately bring about a higher quality of life.

That defining moment in my life happened in 2013.

For as long as I can remember, I always ALWAYS struggled with body image issues. I went on my first diet when I was 14 - it was the cabbage soup diet. I lost a pound a day, and was soon addicted. One day, I succumbed to a chocolate bar. The next morning, I woke up two pounds heavier.

From that day on, I was terrified of food and dedicated to losing weight – fast! Both of my parents were overweight, and I told myself that I would never let that happen to me.

I began to obsess with one unsustainable habit after another. I bounced between fad diets, I did hours and hours of cardio without really knowing what I was doing, and often times I worked out so much, I thought I could just eat whatever I wanted.

I was fixated on my health, but had never been unhealthier. It was only much later that I would come to realize that my body was an investment and getting healthy was a process. 

Throughout it all, I was drawn to all of the wrong relationships and settled for work that was not at all fulfilling. I had never really believed that I deserved better.  I, finally, went on a hunt for ways to step back into my power. I found inspiration in an unlikely place – the stunt double for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Pink Power Ranger. “That’s the kind of strong I want to be,” I thought.

I decided that I COULD and WOULD be a warrior. And just like the phoenix, I rose from the ashes!

I started learning all kinds of new skills - combat sambo, kickboxing, MMA grappling... I discovered new energy and focus and grew confident in my abilities to defend myself against any obstacle. My body also started changing more and more and I LOVED what I saw. 

I met a new friend who helped me learn how to truly fuel my body; How to heal it and gainpower. I felt so in control of my life and self-worth. For the first time, I was flooded with self-love. I found the strength to leave any relationship that didn’t serve me, I quit all of my unhealthy addictions cold turkey, and I never looked back.

My newly-earned positivity drew more and more people to me, and I loved it. They wanted to know how I brought about my own success story. Moreover, they wanted to know how they could have their own. With their encouragement, I decided to become a personal trainer. I pursued my certification and soon started signing clients left and right. I even started training my mom – who is now one of my biggest success stories!

 I came to face the fact that I would always need to continue to evolve. When the call to fad diets returned, when my weight loss or muscle gain stalled – I knew I had to re-commit to my body and myself and be willing to adjust my mindset and routine.

I continually make the decision to invest in myself and started teaching others how they can do the same; I watched them learn how to notice and celebrate their victories too!

I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping others connect with the purpose, excitement, focus and newness that comes with choosing to reset their health and bringing new feelings of value, strength, self-worth, confidence, motivation, and all that other fun stuff. By choosing to prioritize their bodies AND their minds, they bring about transformations that can change their entire lives.

Since then, I’ve worked with many private clients, spoken in front of countless groups and am now living my dream life in a sun-drenched climate celebrating every precious moment in either a bikini or a cute sun dress.

Who are your clients?

I work with both men AND women just like you who seek positive change, who are willing to work, and are driven by results; People who are SO motivated yet feel overwhelmed and lost in the VAST amount of fitness and nutrition articles that constantly contradict one another. I work with people who are fed up of DIETING, who want to start LIVING.

What makes you different from other Body/Mind Transformation coaches?

Although we will often touch upon nutrition and other “fitness-y” things, you will also have me as a confidence and motivation consultant. I work on the inner AND outer principles for success and look at your overall fitness results from an organic and very REAL perspective. What that means to you is that you get the kick in the ass you need from a no-BS, authentic life transformation coach!!!

Because I’m not delicate, you’ll always get a straight to the point quick and HONEST response from me. I’m concerned with how to reset your mind, sync it with your body image, and generate the results you need to achieve your ideal quality of life. You may not like what I have to tell you – but you can be sure I will ALWAYS tell you the truth- the truth about what’s standing in the way of your success and how to get rid of it FAST so you can start getting results in record time (and I throw in a healthy dose of humor and inspiration, which always helps!).

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?

The WARRIOR HEALTH & MINDSET CHALLENGE was created for people who are absolutely excited and DEAD serious about changing their bodies AND changing their lifestyle – it means no longer running around all day long, beating yourself up, and saying things like “I feel so fat/gross ”, "I'm not good enough", "why can't I do this".  This was created for you to put systems into place within a few months (sometimes weeks!), which will eventually lead you to the life you have always wanted- one in which you look good, you feel great and NOTHING can stand in your way! Being a warrior myself, I’m known to work best with other warriors- people who are committed to their success NO MATTER WHAT, who are super-ready to get going andwant to know EXACTLY what steps to take to achieve their fitness goals.

My clients often tell me – “just tell me what to do and I’ll do it!” Consider what you’ll do with me to be a high-octane crash course on everything you need to know about living a healthier and balanced lifestyle. You will be expected to take serious and consistent action. No excuses anymore- just a very different way of thinking and full support while you achieve this incredibly exciting goal: A new, healthier, and more radiant version of YOU.

For what type of people are your programs NOT going to work?

Please know, I’m very selective in who I work with. I cherry-pick my clients- yes, I do CHOOSE to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.) The WARRIOR HEALTH & MINDSET CHALLENGE is NOT for those who have no money coming in and are absolutely, financially desperate- at least not right away. It’s been my experience that people in a financial crisis have a harder time focusing and do not do the work (probably because they spend so much time worrying about where they are going to get next month’s rent check or mortgage payment.) If you fall within this category, it’s absolutely OK. We’ve all been in times of financial crisis at one point or another. Do yourself (3) favors:

1. Get some money coming in with a full-time or part-time job at the very least, and then call me. This will take the edge off and provide a little more peace of mind. Mostly, it will de-clutter your mind enough to focus on your WARRIOR HEALTH & MINDSETassignments and the BIG picture. You may even notice later on, that this new lifestyle may actually save you money in the long run.

2. Join my FREE private WARRIOR HEALTH & MINDSET MASTERY Facebook group. The free information will get you started towards your goals until you’re ready to work with me one-on-one.

3. Make a point of signing up to my NEWSLETTER. Tips are sent every week and will give you LOTS to think about. Doing these three things will really help you get primed for our work. When you’re ready, call me and we’ll get you started. (I’m in no rush and will be here when you need me.)

Other types of personalities I won’t work with (without exception) are the whiners or the chronic skeptics, as well as individuals who consistently make excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the program. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not call and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

The WARRIOR HEALTH & MINDSET CHALLENGE begins with understanding your goals, discovering where your motivation really comes from, learning how to manifest what you want, and creating powerful intentions that get you the long lasting results you deserve. Here’s what the challenge gets you to do:

First, we examine where you are at in your current fitness journey and get CRYSTAL clear about where you would ideally like to "end up" and what you would like to experience in terms of your overall physical health and appearance.

Before you can manifest what you want, you not only have to KNOW what you want but, most importantly, WHY you want it.  It is the biggest mistake people make when trying to build their dream bodies. To rely on motivation alone is like hoping you can forever run on the same tank of gas. Eventually, you run out. This is where we explore the big WHY behind your big goal- your purpose will be what pulls you through without fail!

 

3. Address Your ''Inner Demons''

This is total honesty hour! You might already know what you need to be doing but yet you are still struggling with bad habits, self sabotage and plateaus. You’ll be learning proven techniques for breaking through your inner resistance, self doubt, fear, anxiety and all of that “stuff” that keeps you playing small so that you can begin taking full control of your health and fitness journey.

 

4. Strategize

Together, we’ll figure out the ''HOW''.  With your current lifestyle in full consideration, we will map out your route to achievable AND sustainable success. We will put together a fully customized FOOL PROOF plan based on your schedule, preferences, and any possible obstacles that may present themselves along the way.

 

5. Application & Focus

We've done all of the back work- now it's time to apply it! It's exciting and maybe a little scary at first but I will be there every step of the way! In addition to regular check ins to keep you motivated and on track, you will also learn how to adjust and be flexible in your strategy- teaching you how to set yourself up for lifelong success! Remember, this is not your cookie cutter "chicken and rice" diet! In 90 days, life WILL go on and so I will teach you how to roll with the punches without losing your focus!

How quickly can I expect results?

That depends on how quickly you can make those inner shifts. Some clients are ready to go and start noticing big changes in a very short time frame, sometimes even a few weeks while others have a bit more work to do first. It also depends on your perseverance and patience. Keep in mind, this is a process and not a race.
